Two Oneida county men were arrested for having sexual contact with a underage girls:
Jake William Meyers 23, of Oneida was arrested on May 14 and charged with sexually abusing a child.
A lengthy investigation revealed that Meyers sexually abused a female child under the age of 11, at a home in Yorkville NY in 2013. Meyers was processed and arraigned at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office in Whitestown NY, after being charged with Sexual Abuse in the first degree, a class D felony. Bail was set at $10,000
An order of protection was issued for the victim. Additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
Patrick Parker, 30, was arrested on May 14th for having sexual contact with a female child under the age of 14 while in the City of Rome.
Parker was arrested for Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Misdemeanors.
Parker was processed at the Rome Police Department and arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
In both cases the victims has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center
