Many CNY towns are left holding the bag, the trash bag that is, as Feher Rubbish has abruptly ceased operating.
Employees say they didn't know anything was wrong til they showed up for work this morning and were told.
On its Facebook page, the Town of Cicero says it was notified on Thursday afternoon that Feher Rubbish Removal has ceased operations.
The Town of Salina says it too is having to find another trash hauler as is several townships.
Feher's web site says it provides service to Geneva, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse, Watertown and Utica.
No word on why as of yet.
