"Rigged" Hearings Into Former SU Frat Begin Today

Syracuse, N.Y. - The SU law professor acting as an adviser for students from the Theta Tau fraternity says the disciplinary hearings are rigged.

Student conduct hearings are scheduled today but their adviser, Gregory Germain, says that the university already made up its mind and there won't be a fair hearing. The Fraternity was booted form Campus after a series of highly-offensive and racist videos surfaced.

The adviser says the students were just doing skits to try to be funny in a safe space and now feel embarrassed and humiliated.  Germain says if they were charged with making offensive, unfunny, juvenile videos, they'd probably be guilty, but the charges are far more serious.
