Cortland, N.Y. - A Cortland man is accused of crashing into a gas pump and causing a fire.
Police say this past weekend 23-year-old James Moore hit a Port Watson Street Sunoco station gas pump, then drove away. Foam extinguishers at the gas station switched on, dousing everything and putting the fire out in less than five minutes.
Police caught up with Moore and charged him for leaving the scene of a crash and driving without a license.
