Syracuse Police Find PCP During Traffic Stop

Thursday night, Syracuse Police Officers made a traffic stop. As they approached the vehicle in the 300 block of Gifford Street, they observed the driver and front seat passenger moving around as if they were attempting to hide something. 

While speaking with those in the car, officers noticed the smell of PCP comeing from the the vehicle.  

The passenger of the vehicle, Tavorus Ditumbule, 37, of 122 Mark Ave, Syracuse, was asked to step out of the vehicle. Upon further investigation, Ditumbule was found to be in possession of a large vial of PCP.

Ditumbule was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.
