Syracuse Police have arrested a 15 year old for possessing a 9mm Semi -Automatic handgun.
Around 11:20 pm officers saw two males trespassing in the 100 block of Radisson Court. While speaking with the two males, one of them turned and ran from police. Officers chased after the male and were able to take him into custody. The male was identified as a 15 year old juvenile.
Police then conducted a ground search of the suspect’s path when he fled where they found a loaded Taurus PT92 9mm semiautomatic handgun.
The 15 year old was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Resisting Arrest.
He was sent to the Hillbrook Juvenile Detention Facility.
