Syracuse, N.Y. - A young boy is accused of beating up an older man and stealing his bike.
Police say a 68-year-old man said he was walking his bike on Cleveland Avenue when an eleven-year-old boy tried to physically take it. When the victim resisted, the boy punched him in the head, knocked him to the ground and stole the bike. Police arrested an eleven-year-old who matched his description with the bike a short time later on Griffith Street.
The child was released to his parents and is due in juvenile court at a later date.
