Syracuse Police With Another Fatal Shooting

Syracuse police dealing with another fatal shooting as well as an unrelated stabbing.

Police were busy again last night, with a call to Fernwood Avenue around 9:30 where a female was found with a stab wound to her shoulder.  She's hospitalized with injuries that aren't believed to be serious.  But about an hour later, officers sent to a shooting and car crash on Hudson Street found a woman in her 20's with a gunshot wound.  She was taken to Upstate, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Police have identified the victim as 20 year old Marvina Adams, of Syracuse.

There's no suspect information on either attack, and police don't believe the shooting and stabbing are related.
