A Whitesboro police officer is dead following a 2 car crash last night.
The officer has been identified, in a Police Department Facebook post, as Kevin Crossley.
Troopers say a vehicle hit the officer's patrol car last night at an intersection of Westmoreland Street and Oriskany Boulevard. The officer was pronounced dead at a Utica hospital.
The other driver was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
There's no word on any charges they might face.
