New York - Actress and candidate for Governor, Cynthia Nixon, has her first statewide endorsement.
A powerful liberal group in New York, Citizen Action, is announcing their support of Nixon over Governor Andrew Cuomo and Jumaane Williams for Lieutenant Governor.
Citizen Action previously endorsed the Governor for his last run, but now say the political process in Albany is out of balance. In a statement, the group says Nixon and Williams are life-long activists who believe in putting New York families over billionaire CEOs.
