Syracuse, N.Y. - A court date is scheduled today for one of the regular pan handlers on Erie Boulevard near Thompson Road.
Syracuse Police Officers arrested 51-year-old Brett Bowman last week. He had been warned several times about his aggressive panhandling, according to officers, over the last six months.
Officers say that he's been walking into traffic looking for handouts. Bowman faces charges for the panhandling, and for lying to Police about his identity.
