New Charges To Be Leveled Against Accused Murdering Arsonist

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man accused of setting a deadly fire is now facing new charges.

Police say 20-year-old Charles DuBois intentionally started the fire on Fitch Street last week while his family was sleeping.  DuBois' mother, brother, sister, and infant nephew died as a result.  Officers say he will face one murder charge for each person killed.

He is also being charged with two new assault charges. Those stem from the two firefighters that were hurt battling the blaze.

DuBois is behind bars without bail for one murder charge.
