Madison County Man Fired Shotgun Twice

A Madison County man faces several charges after physical dispute ended with him allegedly firing a shotgun at another man... twice.

The Sheriff's department says 42 year old Russell Bellair was having a physical fight with another man at his home, when Bellair grabbed a shotgun pointed it at the mans head. The man pushed the gun away and Bellair pulled the trigger. Then Bellair shot another round at the man as he fled.

The man was not hit by either shot and was not injuried.

Bellair is charged with Reckless Endangerment, Menacing and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He was sent to Madison County Jail on $2,500 cash and $5,000 bond.
