Syracuse Police arrested 3 teens today after police attempted a traffic stop of a vehicle that was previously reported stolen.
Syracuse Police attempted tp make a traffic stop at the iontresection of Midland Ave and W. Taylor Street. The vehicle refudsed to stop and a chase began.
The chase ended when the vehicle and all three of it's occupants crashed into a residence in the 500 block of Bryant Ave. All 3 fled the scene but were caught and arrested.
The driver was a 15 year old girl and was charged with Unlawful Fleeing of a Police Officer in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, Reckless Driving and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree. She was released on a juvenile appearance ticket.
The the other 2 occupants were 17 year old, Peter Geremia and Marqual West. They were charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree.
All three were ticketed and released.
The house was the home of former Syracuse Police Chief Steve Thompson. The current Syracuse Common Councilor was out for a run at the time of the crash.
