Senate GOP Health Care Bill Loses More Support With Republican Ranks

New York -  U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer says he wants his colleagues to vote on gun control legislation by the end of April.

He held a rally in Manhattan on Sunday and called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow a vote on legislation.  Schumer says Republicans are dragging their feet on gun control.  The bills he's pushing include tougher background checks and an assault weapons ban.

Schumer says he's optimistic that bills addressing gun violence will be passed in the coming weeks.
