Just before 10 pm last night Syracuse Police received several 911 calls regarding several shots fired in the area of Genesee Park Drive near Salt Springs road.
Police say officers responded and upon arrival they observed a vehicle leaving the area. Police followed the vehicle and stopped it. Inside they found a 22 year old suffering from a gun shot wound to his left leg. He was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police say it appears the male was in his vehicle when he was shot at from a passing vehicle. Police located several shell casings in the area and the victims car had several bullet holes.
