New York State Troopers along with the Computer Crime Unit/ICAC Task Force arrested 20-year-old, Richard M. Heisler from 1407 Oak Street in Syracuse, NY for (3) counts of Promoting a sexual performance by a child (D-felony) and (1) count of Possessing a sexual performance of a child (E-felony).
The arrests followed a lengthy investigation in which Heisler had uploaded hundreds of images and videos consistent with the sexual exploitation of children over the course of several months to an internet service provider.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force consists of members from New York State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Marshals Service.
