Murder Charges Being Brought Against Accused Drunk Driver

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Camillus man is charged with murder for driving drunk when he crashed into a car killing three current and former OCC students.

A sealed indictment was opened in Onondaga County Court this morning, charging Anthony Saccone with a charge of murder in the deaths of Michael Walker, Baylie Rose, and Samra Osmanovic.  The three were in a car in the early hours of February 23rd when Saccone ran a red light on Route 173 near Fairmount and T-Boned them.  

Saccone, who had been out on bail, is back in jail with new bail set at $1,000,000, cash or $2,000,000 bond.  

District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick says he will personally prosecute this case.
