The Cortland County sheriff's office is asking the public to help in the search for a missing vulnerable adult.
The sheriff's office says 88-year-old Harry Silcox of Virgil was last seen Thursday evening on Snyder Hill Road in Virgil. Silcox was driving a 2014 gray Ford Escape with New York license 539-609. Silcox is believed to be wearing a red coat and red hat and may have traveled to either Madison or Onondaga Counties. Authorities also say Silcox may be in need of medical attention. Anyone with information about Silcox's whereabouts should contact the Cortland County sheriff or 9-1-1.
