Syracuse, N.Y. - More is being learned about the 18-year-old shot to death on East Fayette St last month.
Court records indicate that Daquarious Powell was shot twice in the head and that he had been dead for more than 11 hours before his body had been found in the backyard of a home.
A 20-year-old Liverpool man, Zaccai Savery, is accused of murdering the teen. He fled to New York City shortly after the murder before being brought back to Syracuse.
Savery is being held without bail at the Justice Center on murder charges.
