Court Orders Another Mental Health Exam For Stolen Tow Truck Driver

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man accused of causing destruction and mayhem on city streets with a stolen tow truck is getting a yet another mental health exam.

Syracuse Police say that in November Christopher Ricks stole a AAA truck that was assisting on a flat tire call and took off, crashing into multiple vehicles and injuring three law enforcement officers.  The chase came to an end after he was shot by police near the Rescue Mission and then slammed into a fire truck. In court today a judge ruled that Rick's will be given another mental health exam.

He is being held at the Justice Center and will be back in court court on April 18.
