Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Senator John DeFrancisco isn't getting the GOP's blessing to run against Governor Andrew Cuomo.
State party leaders overwhelmingly picked Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro to run. He announced he wasn't going to run in January but party leaders have been calling for him to change his mind.
This is a bit of a surprise as Molinaro hasn't officially announced his candidacy. Many Party Leaders are convinced that Molinaro will end up running.
