Syracuse, N.Y. - March is coming in like a lion and whatever Mother Nature is throwing our way it's nothing we can't handle.
It is very tough getting around this morning. The wet, heavy snow builds up quickly on the roads and makes for very slippery conditions. There have been dozens of accidents as of 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Today's winter storm is expected to coat Central New York with at least six inches of snow by the evening. Areas south of Syracuse could see upward of ten inches. Much of the region is under a winter storm warning until tomorrow morning.
Meantime, thousands of CNYers have been thrust into the dark and cold because of power outages. National Grid says they are working on a spattering of power outages.
