Syracuse, N.Y. - A winter storm watch is going into effect for most of Upstate New York this evening.
The winter storm is expected to coat Central New York with 6 to 10 inches before ending tomorrow evening. The storm watch goes into effect late tonight and will last most of the day tomorrow.
It is caused by a couple of storm systems that will collide. Expect a miserable morning commute on Friday along with rain to mix in with the snow at times.
