New York - Closing arguments begin today in the trial of Governor Cuomo's most trusted confidante and a pair of Syracuse developers.
The defense wrapped up two days of testimony yesterday. Prosecutors took a month to make their case that Cuomo-Aid Joseph Percoco had accepted bribes from COR Development executives Steven Aiello and Joseph Girardi. Prosecutors say that one of the bribes was for $35,000 to skirt using labor union a their inner harbor hotel.
Meantime, the Federal Judge presiding over the case dropped one charge an extortion charge against Percoco.
