What started as a suspicious death is now a homicide.
Around 9:55 yesterday morning police received a call of a man laying on the ground in the 1900 block of E. Fayette Street.
When officers arrived they found the body of Daquarious Powell, 18 he was dead at the scene.
The medical examiner's office conducted an autopsy and determined he had died from a gunshot wound to the upper part of his body.
