A Lakeland man is in jail charged with reckless driving, fleeing police and DWI.
At eight o'clock Sunday night, Troopers responded to a hit and run incident involving a blue Hyundai. While investigating, the suspect vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Interstate 81.
As Troopers perused the suspect, Michael Russo, 26, refused to stop and a pursuit began. The pursuit ended when Russo, became stuck in traffic. He was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Oswego County Jail.
