Syracuse, N.Y. - Rank and File Democrats in Central New York are marching behind an SU Professor for Congress.
Dana Balter is mounting a run against Republican Congressman John Katko. This weekend Balter picked up the endorsement of the Onondaga Democratic Party. Balter has also been endorsed by the Democrats in Cayuga, Wayne and Oswego counties. Balter is also one of the organizers of the progressive activist group CNY Solidarity Coalition.
Manlius businesswoman Anne Messenger has also announced she is seeking the Democrat Party nomination.
