Syracuse, N.Y. - The Orange Offense was back for a second straight game.
Syracuse University beat Wake Forest last night at the Dome 78-70. The guards came up big when the game was on the line. Tyus Battle, who posted 34-points, sealed the victory with a pair of free throws whole Frank Howard was able to dump-off a pass setting up a dunk by big-man Paschal Chukwu.
SU has struggled offensively for most of the season. The same cannot be said of the defense, which is the second best in the ACC behind Virginia.
The Orange only have three regular season home games left. The first of the Trio is Wednesday night against NC State. Tip-Off is at 9.
