New York - The State Attorney General is suing disgraced film executive Harvey Weinstein and his company over the sexual misconduct scandal surrounding him.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the Weinstein Company failed to protect its workers from what it says were repeated instances of sexual harassment, intimidation and other misconduct. Schneiderman's office says the lawsuit contains new allegations against Weinstein, who has already been accused of numerous cases of sexual harassment and assault. The lawsuit is also looking to make sure that the alleged victims are compensated through any sale of the Weinstein Company.
