New York - The Film Hub in DeWitt and Syracuse’s Inner Harbor were in focus at Tuesday’s corruption trial of a pair of Syracuse Developers and a Top Aide to Governor Cuomo.
Andrew Kennedy gave hours of testimony on the stand that Joseph Percoco was often involved in moving COR Development’s project along. He is a former economic development aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo. His testimony focused on whether Percoco took bribes in exchange for his influence on State Government or was helped COR Development fight through bureaucratic red tape on important regional economic development projects.
Prosecutors say that Percoco took $35,000 in bribes to help COR skirt using union labor for their Inner Harbor hotel.
