Syracuse Fire Department responded to a fire this morning at 523 Marcellus Street. When they arrived the second story was in flames.
Four people were inside at the time the fire began, but all were able to escape. The living quarters were on the second floor, a business use to reside on the first floor but is no longer open.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no one was injured.
Firefighters not only had to deal with the fire but wind chills were hovering around 10 degrees as well.
