Liverpool, N.Y. - Troopers are investigating what lead up to a crash on the Thruway near Liverpool around 3 this morning.
Troopers say that they found a truck that had been wrecked in a crash but the driver was nowhere to be found. They say they did eventually find the driver. Offices wouldn't say why he left the scene but add that he could still face charges.
The westbound lanes of the Thruway were closed at Electronics Parkway for a short time, but the Thruway has since reopened.
