East Syracuse, N.Y. - A company closing it's operation in East Syracuse says that not everybody is getting a pink slip.
Officials with Osmose Utilities Services say about a dozen employees will be laid off outright but 80 or so other employees will be given the option of relocating to Buffalo or Atlanta. They say that a few workers will also be given an option to work from home.The company says they will be closing their Enterprise Parkway office in April to streamline their business functions.
More than 100 Central New Yorkers work at the plant.
