Syracuse, N.Y. - The man accused of killing his wife in the retrial of a cold case murder is admitting that he did it. Ronald Meadow admitted that he strangled his estranged wife Coleen in a Syracuse apartment in 1985.
Onondaga DA Bill Fitzpatrick tells Bob Lonsberry about that brutal murder scene and his reaction to Ronald Meadow coming clean after more than three decades of lies.
Meadow had successfully appealed a 2014 murder conviction where he was sentenced to 25-years-to-life. He has plead guilty to manslaughter and will instead spend the next 5 to 15-years in prison when he is sentenced on March 8.
