Syracuse, N.Y. - Three teens held a knife to a man's throat and threatened to kill him this weekend because they wanted his backpack.
Syacuse Police say that on Saturday night 19-year-old Chad Bassett, 18-year-old Aldo Hamm, and 16-year-old William Sass, went up to a man and demanded his backpack. When he tried to runaway the teens chased him down and threatened to slit his throat if he didn't hand the bag over. The victim told police his back pack contained clothing and a sandwich from Dinosaur BBQ.
It didn't take long for police to find and arrest the trio. All three are charged with felony robbery. Bassett was busted with the knife and sandwich and faces additional charges.
The teens are expected to be arraigned tomorrow. City Court is closed today.
