Troopers Are Adding Drones To Their Fleet

Oneida, N.Y. - State Police are getting drones.

Governor Cuomo is announcing the State Police Unmanned Aerial System program.  The drones can be used to keep troopers out of dangerous situations and better photograph crash sites and crime scenes.

Troopers headquartered out of Oneida will get one of the drones this month, but Cuomo said 14 more drones would be distributed throughout the state soon.
