Families Left Homeless After Fulton Fire

Fulton, N.Y. - Five families found themselves displaced in a fire early today in Fulton.

Firefighters were dispatched to an apartment on East Broadway at 1:37 a.m. Tuesday that had heavy fire from the attic and roof area of the building.  Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control, with several hours spent on making sure the fire did not spread.  

All the residents of the five units occupied were accounted for and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The fire is under investigation.
