Man Stabbed Destiny USA Employee Over Bag Of Chips

Syracuse, N.Y. - A 19-year-old is being arrested for stabbing an employee of a Destiny USA shop over a back of chips. 

Syracuse Police say that around 7:45 p.m. Thursday Luis Torres stabbed an employee of the Carmelcorn shop at the mall when that employee confronted him for stealing a bag of chips. Police say Torres then returned the chips but then pulled a knife and cut the employee's hand. 

Police arrested Torres at the scene of the attack.  He's charged with assault, weapons possession, and petit larceny.

He is expected to be arraigned this morning.
