A man who was shot Sunday afternoon on Syracuse's northside has died from his injuries.
Syracuse police say officers found 19-year-old Dunier Chestnut on Park Street shortly before 4:30 pm with a bullet wound in the chest. He was hospitalized but died from his injuries Monday morning. There is no suspect information at present. Police say they don't believe the shooting was random, and that the suspect and victim knew each other, but what their relationship might be is still unknown.
