SU Student Hurt During Armed Robbery

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse University Student was hurt during an armed robbery early this morning.

Syracuse City Police say that the University's Department of Public Safety is looking into an incident where a 23-year-old student robbed by armed men on Comstock Ave near Harrison Street.  

DPS Officers say that a car pulled along side the Student around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday and two men wearing ski masks got out, punched the student and demanded his phone.

DPS says the men got back into a grey colored sedan that was being driven by a woman. After the robbery the trio sped off heading north on Comstock.

The student was taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
