A man shot in his car on Geddes Street Friday night while waiting at a stop light is dead.
Syracuse police arrived at the scene at about 7:20 pm to respond to shots fired and a car crash. Officers found a car off the roadway that struck a utility pole. The 18-year-old male driver had a gunshot wound in his upper body. He was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead there shortly afterward. Officers learned the victim was at a traffic light on South Geddes Street . So far, no suspect information is available.
