Another domestic dispute ends in violence, with the victim hospitalized and the suspect facing multiple charges.
Syracuse police responded to Elm Street at around 8:30 pm Thursday for a report of a domestic-related stabbing, and found a 46-year-old woman with stab wounds to her back. She was taken to the hospital, where she is expected to survive. Officers were able to quickly arrest Roderick Williams, who was trying to flee. He was charged with assault, criminal contempt, and criminal possession of a weapon. Media reports say a neighbor claimed the pair had lived at the Elm Street address for at least five years, and that police had been there to arrest Williams for previous domestic complaints.
