Albion, N.Y. - One of the men accused in a horrific case of Child Abuse and Torture in Oswego County is pleading not guilty to the charges against him.
Shawn Whaley is accused in a case where a 10-year-old girl was dragged behind a car and only fed one meal a day doused in hot sauce. He is also accused of tampering with evidence by changing locks in the home where the abuse was primarily taking place. He and another man -- Gary Bubis -- were afraid that the locks could be used as evidence against them.
Bubis was back in court twice this week to answer charges of two separate and unrelated cases of child sex abuse. His is accused of sexual abusing a 12-year-old girl in 2012 and a raping a 14-year-old girl in 2014.
