Depauville, N.Y. - Two Men from Vermont were arrested after traveling to New York to meet a child they were exchanging illicit messages with.
Troopers say Mark Cuppernell and Anthony Allen were arrested after investigators discovered they had traveled to the area to meet a Jefferson County 17-year-old they had exchanged messages with online. Investigators say they the messages included images shared on social media.
Allen and Cuppernell are charged with felony use of a child in a sexual performance, and disseminating indecent material.
They are both being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $20,000 bail.
