State police say a Wayne County man is dead in a single-vehicle crash Monday.
Troopers were called to a road in the town of Marion for a vehicle in a creek. They found the vehicle on its roof with the vehicle partially submerged in the creek. The lone occupant was found dead and is believed to have been there overnight. Police identify him as Adam Vitalone of Marion. Troopers say a resident near the crash site says they heard a loud noise around 9:30 to 10 pm Sunday, but couldn't see anything. Investigators believe weather may have been a factor in the crash.
