State police make an arrest in a September arson case in Alexandria Bay.
The arrest of Francis Babcock of Alexandria Bay is connected to a fire September 13 which destroyed a significant portion of the Boardwalk Resort and Hotel. Babcock was charged with a count of 3rd degree arson, a "C" felony. He was arraigned in Village of Alexandria Bay Court, where he was remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $40 thousand dollars bond. Troopers say no other arrests related to this fire are expected.
