Syracuse police are looking into a suspicious incident from Saturday morning.
Officers were sent to Hopper Road and met with a woman who told them she was walking in the area when a man with a knife approached her from behind. She says the suspect grabbed her, but she struggled and broke free, and the ran home and called 911. The suspect ran off into a wooded area. The victim had minor injuries, and was treated and released by medical personnel. She described her attacker as being 6 feet tall, in his 50's, with a wrinkly face and discolored teeth. An extensive search of the area for the suspect using K-9 units was unsuccessful.
