Off-Duty Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputy Involved in Hit-And-Run

An off-duty Onondaga County sheriff's deputy is accused of leaving the scene of an auto accident Friday in Tully.

The sheriff's department released a statement stating that deputies responded to an accident around 7pm in the village and learned a vehicle sideswiped another car and left the scene.  The deputies then learned of a second accident involving that same vehicle, which had struck a mailbox.  When arriving at the scene, deputies determined the driver was 34-year-old Kevin Drumm of Lafayette, an off-duty deputy.  Drumm has been suspended without pay while an investigation into the incident continues.
