Duo Sentenced For Killing SU Student From China

Syracuse, N.Y. - Two men convicted of killing a Syracuse University student last year have been formally sentenced.

Cameron Isaac was sentenced to life in prison without parole this morning in Onondaga County Court, while his accomplice, Ninimbe Mitchell, was given a 15-year prison term. Both were convicted of killing Xiaopeng Yuan, a Chinese student studying math at Syracuse University.

Prosecutors say Isaac and Mitchell had set up a drug deal with Yuan behind his apartment complex last September, where he was robbed and fatally shot.
